Microsoft Outlook Express

If you don't have an email account setup you may skip ahead to the [ New Outlook Express Account ] section below.

Open Outlook Express and on the Menu, Click "Tools" and then "Accounts"

You'll get the Internet Accounts Dialog and select the "Mail" tab.

If you already have an account setup for your domain email, then please highlight it in the list on the Internet Accounts Mail tab and press the "Properties" button.

Click the Servers tab and fill out the boxes following the example above.

Note that you must now use your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP):" setting. In this example, we've called it smtp.YOUR-ISP.com. While most ISPs use the convention of "smtp" or "mail" in front of the ISP domain name, you may need to contact the ISP and ask them for the name of your Outgoing SMTP server. Some Outgoing SMTP servers require authentication (a special password) so you may need to ask them for the authentication information as well as the name of their SMTP Server.  Sorry, we can't tell you the settings for your ISP"s SMTP Outgoing Mail Server but your ISP can.

You can now test the email setup by addressing a new Email to you@yourdomain.com and press send. You should see the message come into your email box within a reasonable amount of time. The time it takes may depend on your ISP"s SMTP mail server load at the time that you send your test message.
