Microsoft Outlook 2000
If you don’t have an email account setup you may skip ahead to the [ New Outlook 2000 Account ] section below.
Select from the menu "Tools" and then "Accounts"

If you already have an account setup for your domain email, then please highlight it in the list on the Internet Accounts Mail tab and press the "Properties" button.

Note that you must now use your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for the "Outgoing mail server (SMTP):" setting. In this example, we’ve called it smtp.YOUR-ISP.com. While most ISPs use the convention of "smtp" or "mail" in front of the ISP domain name, you may need to contact the ISP and ask them for the name of your Outgoing SMTP server. Some Outgoing SMTP servers require authentication (a special password) so you may need to ask them for the authentication information as well.
You can now test the email setup by addressing a new Email to you@yourdomain.com and press send. You should see the message come into your email box within a reasonable amount of time. The time it takes may depend on your ISP’s SMTP mail server load at the time that you send your test message.
