Configuring Outlook

Configuring an email program to send and receive email is a necessary step to use your domain's email address. You need to use an email client program that supports Post Office Protocol (POP3) and Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP). While these are standards, the configuration settings are implemented differently in each software program.

We’ll walk you through the configurations of the email programs listed below.

Note: You now may use your Internet Service Provider (ISP) as your SMTP Server for your outgoing email. Please check the SMTP Reference Table below or ask your ISP for the name of the SMTP server that you can use to relay your outgoing mail.

Note: Norton Anti-Virus users. In Norton Anti-Virus Options, please disable Email Protection temporarily while you reconfigure your software. When the configuration changes are made, re-enable your Norton Anti-Virus Email Protection.
